Repurposed Window Tables

My neighbor was tearing out several windows from a house built in 1904, so a bought one of them from him and built this coffee table for my girlfriend’s birthday.  The legs are also made of salvaged wood, which I bought from the rebuild warehouse.

The second window table I built (click through the slide show to see) had a broken pane when I I found it so made the legs long enough fit a fern plant underneath and fill the open space with a plant.

Portfolio Q: What was your role in this project?
I did everything on my own.  Design, construction, even the part where I accidentally hammered my thumb.
